All you need to do is create an account. Here is 6 steps how to register:
Step 1: Go to http://www.pinger.com/textfree/ and choose "Creat Account"
Step 2: Type your information (name,email,...)
Step 3: Type the zipcode of your country. If it's not available, just type 12345 or 98023 (Washington Zipcode)
Step 4: Choose the number you like in the number list.
Step 5: Goto your email to verify the account.
